LINK has always offered free consulting for community groups and initiatives — like strategic planning, marketing and funding advice — helping them turn ideas into action. Now groups can also access financial support for project costs or resources to help meet their goals.
Costs must be project or event based (not ongoing operational), can include expenses involved with meetings (eg venue hire), educational speakers, materials/collateral, transport. Community groups must be not-for-profit, have an annual budget of under $50,000, and do not require legal entity status. Grants are capped at $2000 per group, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
As this is a new support option, LINK is keen to work flexibly with community groups on their needs and opportunities, with a desire to support those initiatives that might otherwise slip through the cracks. Details subject to change. So get in touch if this might help your community group… email firstname.lastname@example.org to express interest or request an application.
